Why Instagram is deleting old posts and how to stop it?

Instagram is currently in the process of deleting old posts from its platform. The decision to delete old posts is part of Instagram’s efforts to clean up its database and improve performance.

However, many users are upset by the decision, as it means that their past posts will be lost forever.

There are a few ways to prevent Instagram from deleting your old posts. First, you can back up your Instagram data using a third-party service.

This will allow you to save a copy of your posts and photos outside of Instagram. Second, you can try using an app that allows you to download Instagram photos and videos.

This way, you’ll at least have a local copy of your content. Finally, you can reach out to Instagram directly and ask them to restore your account. However, there’s no guarantee that they will be able to help.

In the end, it’s up to each user to decide whether or not they want to keep their old posts on Instagram. For some, the decision is easy – the sentimental value of their past posts outweighs the risk of them being deleted.

For others, the opposite is true – they’d rather start fresh with a new account than risk losing their old content. Whichever decision you make, be sure to backup your data first.
